Echoes of Yosemite
Published on September 30, 2025
Echoes of Yosemite brings together the majestic vision of Yosemite through two lenses: the classic landscapes of 19th century master William Keith (1838-1911) and the vibrant interpretations of contemporary California Art Club artists.
This exhibition will highlight Keith’s sweeping depictions of Yosemite’s rugged cliffs and serene valleys, while contemporary works offer fresh perspectives on the iconic landscape and its wildlife that celebrates the splendor of the Sierra Nevada.
This display is part of CAC’s “Celebrating California’s 175th” exhibition series to mark this milestone anniversary for the 31st state in the union.
The exhibition runs from September 19 – December 14, 2025 at the Saint Mary's College Museum of Art, 1928 St. Mary’s Rd., Moraga, CA 94556.

Sargent - Dazzling Paris
Published on September 26, 2025
John Singer Sargent was the most famous American artist of his generation and certainly one of the greatest painters of the 19th and early 20th century. Revered in the United States, he is also famous in the United Kingdom, where he spent most of his career. In France, however, his name and work remain largely unknown, a situation that the exhibition at the Musée d'Orsay hopes to change.
No monographic exhibition has previously been devoted to John Singer Sargent in France. Yet it was in France that the young painter received his training, developing his style and network of artists. Designed in partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, “Sargent – Dazzling Paris” aims to introduce the painter to a wide audience. The exhibition brings together over 90 of John Singer Sargent’s works, including some that have never been exhibited in France.
The exhibition runs from September 23, 2025 – January 11, 2026 at the Musee D’Orsay, Esplanade Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, 75007 Paris.

The Grand Tour - Destination Italy
Published on September 18, 2025
The Grand Tour – Destination Italy takes viewers back to the 17th and 18th century, when young British aristocrats would set out on a multi-year educational journey across Europe upon completion of their studies, with Italy as the ultimate final destination. They liked to take home tangible memories for their British (country) houses – but instead of photographs or postcards, they fancied a portrait of themselves, cityscapes or Roman sculptures. The true ‘must-haves’ were Canaletto’s paintings of Venice, to take home their own piece of the ‘Floating City’.
The exhibition runs from September 18, 2025 – January 4, 2026 at Mauritshuis, Plein 29, Netherlands.
