While my art interest began from stylized cartoon and animation, my interest toward realism and supernatural has been strong. I strongly wanted my imaginations to be "real," which is why I am interest in not only in drawing but also engineering and science as well. However, I'm not interested in copying what exists; I seek to go beyond and create or manipulate reality of my own. Living an introverted life, I spent time exploring myself and observing my surroundings. Then I created by either drawing or building up lego, following the desire to actualize my thoughts and feelings. Desire to create reality from my imagination is the foundation of my aesthetics. I seek to integrate imagination and realism and create a reality that sometimes tell a story, deliver a message, or simply look beautiful. With fast development of technology, I will have to incorporate digital medium, such as Photoshop and Z-Brush. However, adapting technology can come later; I do not want to depend on computer but to be able to create art myself. I intend to refine my skill and knowledge to the level of creating another reality, while maturing my mind to instill my values into the work, and ultimately create work that is not only visually beautiful and convincing, but also capture emotional and conceptual values as well.

Formerlt attended the School of Visual Arts and instructed by Marvin Mattelson, Donato Giancola, Chris McGrath.

~ 2012
- I grew up in an academic environment, expecting to become an architect or engineer. Drawing was my hobby but I never considerd myself becoming an artist due to my parents' disapproval. While continuously drawing cartoonish characters and coming up with fictional stories, I forced myself to study in order to get stable salary in the future. During my highschool study, I became greatly skeptical about myself and reluctant to continue study. Negative influence from my classmates from elementary school to highschool, such as bullying, greatly contributed to the development of my skepticism and reluctance; However, at the same time, it made me spend time alone and accelerated my interest toward art and philosophy.

2012 ~ 2013
- My parents approved of my art interest and I abruptly decided to pursue art during junior year in highschool. I prepared for art school and started looking into actual work, such as drawings and illustrations, by professionals and masters.

2013 ~ 2014
- I got accepted to SVA and began my study of art. Without having any art background, and having no knowledge about mediums other than pen and pencil, I tried to learn about other medium and the art world. I was first introduced to oil painting and photoshop in my first year of study and this greatly improved my hostility to painting and tendency to solely depend on physical medium.

2014 ~ 2016
- After one year of study in SVA, I took a leave of absence due to mandatory military service. After fulfilling 21 months of service, I came back to school on the following fall.

2016 ~ 2019
- I continued my study while trying to recover from 21 months of gap. I realized my ignorance and felt great need for finding my path as an artist, in terms of both aesthetics and career. I became greatly confused about the dilemma of pursuing art and working as an artist and struggled to, and still struggling to, figure out my answer. During my junior year I became increasingly interested in painting and considered becoming a painter. I spent junior and senior year on learning using acrylic, oil, and medium used for painting. Graduated this spring 2019, I am planning to continue my study at New York Academy of Art this following fall 2019.
