29.75"x41" One of series of acrylic paintings illustrating scenes from "Frankenstein." Depicting Victor Frankenstein in anguish over creating female monster for the monster. He confronts dilemma between freedom and fear in this process. His life and family is under threat of monster if he refuses to make female monster, at the same time the terror of another monstrous being makes him hesitate. Here, Victor's attitude is completely changed from the time he created his first monster. He, as the creator, was obsessed with his creation and was completely unaware of any moral values and monstrosity of his experiment. In contrast, let alone his interest in the secret to life, he has become fearful of his own creation and his decisions are under the monster's influence.
