Imaginative Realism

ARC is proud to present the finalists and winners of the Imaginative Realist Category in the 13th International ARC Salon. This represents 141 entries out of the 471 works entered into this category. This category focuses on historical scenes, religious imagery, surrealism, fantasy art and science fiction. Today there is a growing group of artists utilizing techniques of the past, but with modern day creative concepts. This imaginative style of art is a legitimate form of human expression, broadening the types of subjects Mankind can explore and enabling viewers to understand emotions and themes in the real world by abstracting the subjects through unconventional but recognizable imagery.
