“In the quiet afternoon, she has her favorite time of the day to visit this room. The dark and quiet room is like her sanctuary. She is peaceful when her mind is still. A bright ray of sunlight filters through the stained-glass windows illuminating rainbow colors on her body. The bold and bright red is like the color of pomegranate, the yellow is like shining gold, and the cold blue color is like the reflection of the sky. She now wears a beautiful, ephemeral dress in this tranquil moment. 

I strived to paint the patterns of the colors on her body as accurately as possible according to the shape of the stained-glass windows rather than using large brush strokes. By doing this, viewers can see a subtle shift in the shapes of colors on her body, even the reflection of her little earring. As a result, people can enjoy the bold, abstract effects at the same time.” – TAKAYUKI HARADA
