Letter to ARC

Dear ARC,

I thank you for what you are doing. I have been creating art all of my life, and it is the essence of who I am. I have learned that this can be a blessing as well as a difficulty, to say the least. Since finding your website by sheer stumbling, I have found what has been bothering me as far back as I can remember. The arts to me have been anything but hopeful. I have found emptiness and rejection. Though I have wanted to change direction, even attempted to find a new career, the powers that be have not let those events happen. I have felt chained to the art world as a prisoner.

Upon reading your views and experiences concerning modernism, I have found a light in which to be comforted in this great journey. Knowing that I am not alone in these convictions. Thank you for bringing some dignity to the meaning of being an artist. May love and well being be with you all.
