She studied at the Birmingham School of Art. It is interesting to conjecture what she could have achieved had she been able to study at the Royal Academy Schools, but this would not have been possible for a young unprotected woman at that time. Her sister, Myra Louisa Bunce was a proficient watercolourist, \u0026 metalworker, who sometimes made ornate frames for her sisters pictures. Neither sister married.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EKate\u0026rsquo;s pictures are often strongly Pre-Raphaelite, using strong colours, niave perspective, \u0026 packed with detail. She was a member of the Birmingham Society of Artists. Much of her best work was done before the turn of the century, after which she concentrated on religious works for churches. She was a devout Christian.
