I happened upon the ARC website by chance, a recommendation of a friend. And now I am stunned and mesmerized with joy that you and the Art Renewal Center exist, that the truth of what is real art is finally coming out of the morass of ugly dissonance that is Modernism.
Thank you!
All my life I have been drawn to the beauty of representational "realist" art and classical masters, and it is an unfortunate fact that it was often easier to keep my mouth shut in trendy artsy circles than to divulge what I really thought of Picasso and Cézanne and Kandinsky and the rest of the "smear and splatter and distort and scrawl" group. I also think true art is universally and inherently appealing, not an aquired taste. It is about time we all realize this once again.
Your fantastic article here:

has made such an impact on myself and my family members that I have just spent at least three hours reading, and looking at the images, and rejoicing!
I am an artist (and a writer) myself, but never properly trained, and just seeing your approved ateliers has made me wildly want to sign up for a formal course of study in an art school. Maybe I will at some point, it is never too late.
What you are doing for the world is priceless.
Once again, thank you.
With Sincere Appreciation,
