Manet & Morisot
Published on April 28, 2026
Manet & Morisot is the first ever major exhibition dedicated to the artistic exchange between Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot. Unfolding over a period of roughly 15 years, between 1868 and 1883, theirs was perhaps the closest relationship between any two members of the Impressionist circle. As friends and colleagues—by turns collaborative and competitive—they collected one another’s work. Morisot posed for some of Manet’s most compelling portraits, several of which are on view in the first gallery of the exhibition. When she married Manet’s younger brother, their professional connection deepened into a familial bond. Thirty-six paintings and six drawings and prints borrowed from museums and private collections in the United States and Europe reveal the evolution of a singular friendship between two groundbreaking artists. Visitors see beach and garden scenes made en plein air that demonstrate how Manet borrowed individual motifs and compositional ideas directly from Morisot. Portraits of fashionable Parisian women of the 1880s by the two artists show their different perspectives.
The exhibition runs from March 29 - July 5, 2026 at the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106.

Feet and Lower Leg - Vosler Young Artists' Studio Workshop
Published on April 24, 2026
The foot is a marvel of engineering, designed to support the entire weight of the human form. This workshop bridges the gap between mechanical understanding and artistic expression. Join us as we move from the foundational study of bone and muscle to the fluid beauty of the live model, learning to ground our figures with the precision and grace of the Old Masters.
This workshop focuses on a practical approach to drawing the leg and foot, areas often overlooked but essential for a grounded and believable figure. Students will learn to navigate the complex rhythms of the lower limbs through a blend of anatomical study and observational practice.
Students will learn Structural Anatomy, Cast Drawing & Spatial Orientation, Old Master Analysis and Observational Life Drawing. There will be daily demonstrations by Kerry, illustrating how to break down the leg and foot into manageable, expressive forms.
In the final stage of the workshop, students have the option to transition from drawing to painting from the live model to explore color and light.
The workshop runs from June 8 - 12, 2026 at Vosler Young Artists' Studio, 330 Pauls Drive, Brandon, FL 33594.

The Female Perspective III. Queen Isabella Farnese
Published on April 15, 2026
The third edition of The Female Perspective focuses on the 18th century to examine the legacy of one of the most influential artistic patrons in the formation of the Museo del Prado’s collections: Queen Isabella Farnese (1692–1766). A pivotal figure in both politics and collecting, Isabella Farnese profoundly shaped the cultural landscape of 18th-century Europe.
Her collection — nearly a thousand paintings, of which more than a third now form a core part of the Prado’s holdings — stands among the most distinguished of her time. These 350 masterpieces include works by Velázquez, Ribera, Murillo, Correggio, Rubens, Reni, Van Dyck, Bruegel the Elder, Clara Peeters, Teniers, and Watteau, among others.
The exhibition runs until May 24, 2026 at the Museo Nacional del Prado, Paseo del Prado s/n, Madrid, 28014, Spain.

Timeless Mucha
Published on April 8, 2026
Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) defined the look of Art Nouveau with his sinuous lines, radiant color, and elegant figures that transformed posters, advertisements, and everyday design. Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line celebrates the artist’s revolutionary graphic work—the medium that made him an international sensation. Featuring more than 100 works from the Mucha Trust Collection, the exhibition traces his rise in Paris through his iconic designs for legendary French actress, Sarah Bernhardt and his influence across illustration, design, and popular culture. From the swirling psychedelia of the 1960s to the expressive dynamism of Japanese manga, and American comics, Mucha’s visual language continues to captivate artists and audiences alike, proving that the magic of his line is truly timeless.

Das alles bin ich (I Am All That!) - Leaf by Leaf – A Life with Art
Published on April 7, 2026
The exhibition presents the generous gift of some 200 works that art collector Christoph Müller has made to the Museum of Prints and Drawings. The works on paper show a broad panorama of visual themes spanning five centuries.
Animals, plants, trees and forests – a wealth of graphic images, drawings and watercolors render the diversity of art’s engagement with nature. Depictions of nature in art can serve as a source of knowledge, as a means of preserving beauty, or as a reflection of divine creation. Nature and animal studies rely on precise observation, attesting to the desire to understand and capture the world around us. In some works, nature takes on a symbolic character ‒ as a symbol of growth, transience, and life. It is also a place where people can connect with themselves and the world.
The exhibition takes place at the Gemäldegalerie, Matthäikirchplatz, Berlin 10785, Germany from March 10 – June 14, 2026.
