The Golden State Exhibition at The Old Mill

Published on January 9, 2020

The California Art Club spotlights quintessential images of the distinct land and lifestyle of California with the exhibition The Golden State, on view from January 14 to May 17 at its gallery at the historical landmark The Old Mill, 1120 Old Mill Rd, San Marino, CA 91108.

A reception with the exhibiting artists will be held on Thursday, January 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

During the exhibition, the California Art Club will present as part of its ongoing educational programming a Paint/Sculpt-Out in the garden of The Old Mill on Saturday, January 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be no charge to watch the artists at work during this family-friendly event, and children may create their own paintings. Attendees may also peruse the offerings at the Artist Flea Market that will also be taking place, at which Club artists will sell surplus items from their studios, ranging from new and slightly used art materials to frames, easels, art books and more.
