I have for several years now considered Mario Robinson to be one of the most talented living artists, who also happens to be a well-recognized ARC Living Master™.
His paintings capture much of the emotional essence of black America, and he does so with a singular directness which compels empathy in his viewers for the sadness, joy, or psychic torment in nearly every one of his subjects. If you ever have the chance to experience a grouping of his works together, you’re likely to see any number of art loving visitors mesmerized by one powerful composition after another….riveted by this artist's rare and exceptional talent for subtle nuanced dramatic intensity in scenes from everyday life. The simpler his composition the more complex the emotions.
