Nympheus Luminansis

Published on November 20, 2025

ARC Associate Living Master, French artist Laurence Saunois will present Nympheus Luminansis, les nymphéas de la lumière (Nympheus Luminansis, Water Lilies of Light) in Figeac, France. The result of eight years of work, this tribute to Claude Monet offers a contemporary vision of the poetic world of Giverny. Ten large-format paintings, in which light and color take center stage, define her “real impressionism,” combining figurative precision with impressionistic emotion. The exhibition will then be presented in six American museums, affirming Laurence Saunois' international stature and her exploration of light, color, and artistic memory.

The exhibition runs from November 22 – 30, 2025 at Palais Balène, Rue Balène, Figeac 46100, France.
