Nadija Kudryavtseva was born in 1975 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 1995 she graduated from Kharkiv Art College, in 2002 - from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts - KSADA (Faculty of Fine Art, Department of Graphic Art, specialization ‘Book design and illustration’). In 2003 she had completed the KSADA - affiliated Master's program. Since 2004 she cooperates with the Kharkiv publishing houses ‘Factor’, ‘Pelican’, ‘Ranok’. During 2002 - 2006 she had been teaching History of art and Computer graphic in the Kharkiv Art College. In 2006-2009 she worked as artist-designer of the studio "Family from A to Z". In 2012 she became a member of the All-Ukrainian Union of Artists.
In 2013 with her illustrations of the book "Heavenly drum. Legends and Parables of Ancient China' Nadija was nominated for the Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for literary and visual works: Nomination 'Artistic design of books for children and youth'.
In 2014 Nadija Kudryavtseva was included into the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine (EMU), published by the Institute of Encyclopedic Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Now Nadija Kudryavtseva is engaged in book illustration and graphic arts. She regularly participates in artistic exhibitions (since 1997), both in Ukraine and abroad. Most of Nadija Kudryavtseva artworks are kept in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Greece. She works in a wide range of graphic and painting techniques, though her favorite is watercolor and acrylic painting.
