After growing up in rural Nebraska, I studied visual arts at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln for two years before moving to Seattle, WA. In 2006, I graduated summa cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with a focus on photography. With my photography, I exhibited in several galleries including Seattle Art Museum Gallery and Center on Contemporary Art. I realized in 2014 that I wanted to pursue an education in classical drawing and painting, which led me to study at the Academy of Classical Design for four years under the direction of D. Jeffrey Mims. I am now living in North Carolina and working to create a series of drawings and paintings.
