Claire Livingston

San Diego resident Claire Livingston is a figurative realist painter making contemporary portraits with traditional techniques. After studying fine art drawing and theatrical design at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she moved to Italy to study at the Florence Academy of Art. Three years in Florence opened up a new world of traditional oil painting techniques. Claire is now living in San Diego, taking portrait commissions and working on a personal body of work.
