Mike D Wodnick

I've had a life long interest in the arts, anything creative really. From pottery, sculpture, etching, drawing and painting. For the last 30+ years my focus has been oil painting. I studied with Richard Lack for four years which fine tuned my aesthetics and honed my skills in the craft of painting.In addition to painting I've also have been doing fine art conservation and restoration which has exposed me to many different styles and techniques that I've found to be useful in my own work. My work is representational but it is the underlying abstract shapes and composition that really interest me. To me  good compostion is the foundation on which all good art is formed.
