Steven Christopher Seward is a figurative artist who has chosen the field of portraiture to express his artistic vision. He comes from a family of artists where his father, illustrator and portrait painter James E. Seward, taught him how to paint.
Steven's historical influences come from the Golden Age of Dutch and Flemish Painting which includes the usual suspects, Rubens, Rembrandt, Hals, and Vermeer.
