In 2016, Hubert moved to Italy to begin a three-year traditional training in figurative sculpture at the Florence Academy of Art. There, he was awarded a work-study scholarship for the duration of his final two years of study. Hubert’s work has also been recognised by the Art Renewal Centre (ARC) where he was a finalist in their 13th International Salon 2018 as well as in their Da Vinci Initiative 2018 for young artists. Group exhibitions include Symbiose, KG Freiräume (2018); FACE 2018, The Society of Portrait Sculptors (2018); Fruits of Summer (2017, 2018), The Florence Academy of Art.
