Dina Mastantuono

Dina Mastantuono was born in a small town in Italy in 1961, immigrating to Montreal, Canada at a young age. Growing up in this multicultural, urban setting in the sixties and seventies, helped form an idealistic view of equality and feminism in her life outlook. Having always displayed an ease with art and creativity, Dina studied Graphic Design for 3 years and established a successful career as an Art Director and Designer. Finally studying painting at an atelier later in life, Dina has found a personal creative outlet for portraying life and people in a way that illustrates her fascination with the uniqueness of every person, striving to show the inner beauty of every subject. All while capturing a moment in time, allowing the viewer to connect to the emotion beneath the surface. Her artistic approach is realism.
