To have in the family some reference to the arts is a security that is a privilege for the few. This is what happens to the Valzacchi, who have been presenting their artists to the Brazilian art scene for decades. With roots based in Italy, they follow an academic tradition and also some impressionistic tendencies. So to speak, Jesser Valzacchi is son, nephew, grandson and great-grandson of artists. Inheritance that continues honoring the family name. Born in 1983, his career was fueled by the close observation he constantly made to family members when they were active. The environment is undoubtedly a born trainer, and Jesser was able to make the most of it. In 1997 he had his first direct contact with paints and in 1998 he intensified his studies on painting and considered art as his profession. He was inspired by the works of his grandfather Edwil Valzacchi and later had great influence of the artist Clodoaldo Martins, besides indirect and direct influences of many other great names that became artistic references like Boner and Morgilli. Like other artists, Jesser has had technical and thematic evolutions throughout his career. In the current scenario, it seeks a balance between the classical basis in an idiosyncratic scenario with the possibility of the spectator to reflect on an aesthetic, philosophical or social question.
