Kim grew up in Calgary, Canada. Passionately involved in music, she pursued high levels of composition and performance. She met and married her hus- band, Kurt, and began a life of nomadic travel and adventure all around the world. After having lived in several countries together, they welcomed three children to their lives, and thought they would have an established career un- til they retired. Then Kim felt drawn to paint. With her first brushstrokes, she knew that she was born to paint and ever since has been driven to produce realistic paintings that capture the story of the human soul. Currently residing in Madrid, Kim works diligently to represent the people that have always so fascinated her, but more importantly, to let her subjects speak.
