Danguole Serstinskaja

Lithuania

Danguole Serstinskaja started drawing in early childhood. From early on she liked animals, she grew up around them. Danguole loves painting any kind of wildlife and animal subjects. Her task is to show each animal's own expression and uniqueness. Realism perfectly represents her understanding of art.
Danguole's life in essence was not easy, she has been fighting 2 types of cancers (breast and thyroid) for 12 years now, and in August 2016 she underwent a brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. She hopes her story serves as a big inspiration for others not to give up.
