Andrea Packard is a representational oil painter who was born and raised in Minnesota and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art & Psychology. Following marketing and corporate teaching jobs in Chicago and Barcelona (Spain) respectively, she moved to New York City in 2011 to begin a new career and spent several years studying figurative and portrait painting from life at The Art Students League.
Her work has been on display at the National Arts Club, Salmagundi Club, Dacia Gallery, Jeffrey Leder Gallery, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Gracia Arts Project (Barcelona), New York City Hall, Lore Degenstein Gallery, Julia Karp Gallery (Barcelona) and Wilcock Gallery. Her drawing & painting instructors and mentors include Michal Sagar, Maureen McCabe, Dan Thompson, Max Ginsburg and Roy Mendl. She maintains a studio in Greenpoint and was twice selected to exhibit her artwork at The Other Art Fair at the Brooklyn Expo Center in November 2017 and May 2018. She was named one of the top 5 artists to see at The Other Art Fair by Elephant Magazine.
