刘向东，男，1971年出生。吉林省辽源市人。先后毕业于四平师范学院，东北师范大学。现为职业画家，一直从事油画创作，作品多为超级写实主义，常以静物为题材。
Xiangdong Liu is a contemporary realistic painter who lives and works in Jilin Province, China. He graduated from Siping Normal University and then Northeast Normal University. His ultral realistic still life paintings often depicts subjects he found in nature in his hometwon, the rural area in Northeastern China. His distinctive poetic personal style reflects the idyllic spirit of Chinese culture.
