Jamie Lindholm

United States

b.1961 Akron, Ohio, Jamie is an American artist currently living and working in Broomfield, Colorado in the greater Denver/Boulder area.

After graduating with a BSBA in Marketing/Business Management, Jamie pursued her education in the atelier system.  She studied at The Art Students League of NY, Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia and the studio of artist David Zuccarini at the Howard County Center for the Arts.

Over the past thirty years, Jamie’s work has also migrated from standard commissioned portraits to more narrative imagery.  She takes her accumulated experiences and cultures and conveys them in the story she is trying to tell. She is attracted to the allegorical and metaphorical.  Her work was most recently exhibited at the Little Museum, and can be found in the collections of the International Securities Exchange (NYC) and Dancker, Sellew & Douglas (NJ), as well as numerous private collections throughout the United States and Sweden.  She has won a number of awards over the years, most recently the Placide Daues Schriever Memorial Award in the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club’s 120th Open Juried Exhibition.
