Bruno Vepkhvadze was born on February, 20th, 1986 in Tbilisi (Georgia) in a family of artist Giovanni Vepkhvadze and he represents the 4th generation of artists in this family. Tradition of painting there has begun great-grandfather Ivan Vepkhvadze (1888 - 1971), the National artist of Georgia, and his son Aleksi Vepkhvadze (1921-1982), the Deserved artist of Georgia, the Winner of the State award and the grandson, Giovanni Vepkhvadze (1949) has continued. Since childhood Bruno has shown interest in drawing and in 1993 has entered Children's Art school in which has studied for 3 years. In 2002 was in Italy as a part of the Georgian delegation as the translator. After the high school graduation in 2003, Bruno is again engaged in painting under the direction of the father and prepares for entering the Art school. After entrance examinations he is enlisted on the 3rd course of faculty of painting of Tbilisi’s Art school of J.Nikoladze, in a class of known Georgian artist T.Chhutishvili. Still studying in school, Bruno takes active part in art exhibitions of Tbilisi among professionals. At a youth exhibition gets the diploma of the first degree for the best work. In 2004 becomes a member of Association of the Georgian artists. In 2006 becomes a member of the Union of artists of Georgia. In 2009 Bruno holds the first personal exhibition and the same year ends Tbilisi’s Academy of Arts.
