Timothy Sanders

This will be quite simple.   I am a historic farm caretaker in Massachusetts.  I have been painting in oils for about 25 years, self learning all the way.  The computer age has really helped in obtaining information on techniques along with digital resources such as dvds.  I paint through the winters when farm work slacks and usually pick a theme for subject matter to concentrate on techniques to render say, water reflections or clouds.   I have been following ARC for a long time and admired all the works presented in the salon competitions.   I have always worked hard to try and bring my level of work to a state that may or may not pass muster.  This year I have decided to give it a one time attempt. All my paintings are stored in my studio and I actually did sell one a few years back.  Ars gratis artis and it keeps me out of trouble!
