Lisa Mozzini-McDill graduated from San Diego State University with Honors, Distinction in Art and a BA in Graphic Communications. Lisa is an Artist Member of the California Art Club and a Signature Member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. She worked as a graphic artist, illustrator, and portrait artist for over 10 years in San Diego. Today she works primarily in oil on plein air landscapes, larger studio work, and commissioned portraits.
Lisa’s work has received numerous awards and has been juried into OPA National and Western Regional shows, Art Renewal Center International Salon, NOAPs International On-LineExhibitions, Greenhouse Gallery Salon International, LPAPA’s Best of Plein Air and Signature Impressionism Shows. She has been published in Orange County's Best magazine, the artist's spotlight of The Press-Enterprise, and was featured as an “Artist to Watch” in Southwest Art Magazine in October of 2017.
Lisa teaches weekly oil painting classes at Parkhurst Galleries, Inc. in San Pedro and at her home studio. She also demonstrates for many art groups and gives plein air workshops on location and studio workshops at Studio 2817 in Newport Beach.
Lisa is represented by, Hillside Fine Art, The Lake House, Parkhurst Galleries Inc., Lisa McKnett Gallery, and The Crystal Cove Art Alliance.
