Born in Beijing, China, Li Jin received her bachelor degree in Stage Design from The Central Academy of Drama in 1988. During the past few years, Jin has collaborated with Christie’s (Hong Kong), J.Gallery (Hong Kong) and many other top art institutions in promoting realistic art in a global context. Being a female artist herself, Jin attempts to support contemporary women with her efforts of depicting the very roles of females within social and historical backgrounds in her portraitures. As a member of Beijing Female Artists Association, Beijing Oil Painting Society, China Film Association, and China Stage Art Academy, Jin has been actively involved in art exhibitions and competitions both domestically and internationally. In 2007, she was one of the initiators and participants of the first exhibition held by International Women Organization of Painters (IWOP). In 2015, her painting “Tranquility” was selected to attend the “Oriental Vision” Art exhibition in Milan, Italy.  In 2014, her landscape oil painting “Impression of HongCun Village” was displayed in the Louvre Museum in paris, France, during the "Contemporary Art Salon” exhibition
