Timeless by Christiane Vleugels

As this artwork is a portrait of my youngest daughter, Marilyn, I simply wanted to immortalize her by painting her in this ancient Egyptian temple, because they are truly a wonderous remain of ancient times. By placing her in the temple her beauty is captured in this timeless space where she will never grow older. The flowery dress, where the roses are in full bloom, will also never wither, and are a tribute to her grace and pureness. How else does a mother feel for her child?
