Summer Apples and Roses by Jim McVicker

I painted this in our yard and within the small apple orchard we have. I love the combination of the still life and the landscape within the same painting. The roses grow throughout our property and add a rich color note to the mass of summer greens. It is always an intimate experience when painring on one's own property.
